The second Thursday of every month from 7-9pm our support meetings are held at the Pig and Pastry on Bishopthorpe Road. Delicious hot drinks and scrumptious cake are heavily involved, free of charge and all our members are welcome to join us. Guest speakers are also invited to some of these sessions to provide advice and information on a wide range of cancer related subjects.

As with our daytime meetings there are occasions where our activities require an alternative venue so please check out or Events Calendar before planning to visit us for the first time.
Our daytime meetings are planned on a social basis via our secret facebook group. If a member wishes to meet up they can use the group to set up a time and place and those who can make it, do. As you’d expect there is always tea/coffee and extremely scrummy cake which are a big part of our meetings, as is laughter and chat. The focus of these meetings is making friends, getting to know each other and feeling good, so whilst there is an awful lot of chat around the topic of breast cancer, we talk an awful lot about run of the mill topics.
Please check out our Events Calendar for further details or call for more information.
One-2-One Meet ups
We are aware that many people may feel uncomfortable with entering a room full of strangers for the first time, therefore our co-founders Zoe and Rachel (who always happy for an excuse to drink coffee and eat cake – are you sensing a theme yet?) are always happy to meet up with new members on a 1-1 basis before they come to their first meeting.
We often plan other social events such as meals out and beauty sessions among others.
Several times a year we hold Lingerie Evenings. Two different Post surgery lingerie retailers provide an excellent service and stock a whole range of underwear, swimwear and sleepwear made especially for ladies who have had breast surgery. Look out for details in our Events Calendar.
